Revlon Dream in Nude Super Lustrous Lipgloss is a new shade that launched with the Revlon Color Charge Spring 2018 Collection that’s launching in drugstores now. Super Lustrous Lipgloss launched back in 2013 and if anything at all you’d think they’d be disappearing from Revlon’s permanent collection at this point to make room for something new. But nope, here’s Revlon creating brand new shades in the line. I’m not sure if Dream in Nude is limited edition as there is no word on the packaging stating as such. The entire Color Charge Collection has actually been trademarked which leads me to believe it’ll be added to the permanent Revlon Collection but I don’t have official, confirmed information about this.

None the less, I decided to pick up Dream in Nude as I thought it would make a rather great companion piece to the Revlon Blank Canvas Super Lustrous Lipstick I picked up that also launched with this collection and I was right. The two shades pair up and play nicely together but Dream in Nude is actually pigmented enough to work perfectly on its own as well.

I find the release of nudes in this collection interesting since it is a very colorful collection with many bright shades such as blue and fuchsia. It’s actually easy to overlook the collection if you’re not one that enjoys color as I almost passed it up before deciding to take a second look. I’m glad I did because I discovered some great keepers in the launch.

Revlon Dream in Nude Super Lustrous Lipgloss is a pale nude that almost reflects pink on my lips and should make me look like a zombie but ended up looking quite lovely. It’s a full color gloss so it applies quite opaque with two to three layers and has a cream finish with a hint of glossiness but no shimmer or glitter.

The formula is hydrating without being sticky or tacky with an easy, smooth glide on my drier lips. This color does have issues with falling into my natural lip lines but going over my lips a few times with the sponge-tipped applicator helps smooth things over for an even finish. I didn’t notice any flavor or fragrance and the formula wears for a solid three hours on my lips without migrating or feather.

I wouldn’t say the formula is groundbreaking here but I really loved the color and felt like it was a really great nude for me. It’s a touch cooler than I typically go for in nudes but it worked for none the less.

Revlon Dream in Nude Super Lustrous Lipgloss is launching now in the Revlon Color Charge Collection at drugstores.
