Milani Keep It Full Nourishing Lip Plumper ($9) is a new lipgloss collection that contains hyaluronic acid to smooth, plump, and hydrate lips that’s available in nine shade selections on the brand’s website.
I really don’t need more lipgloss in my life but the promo images of these looked quite nice and it’s been a while since Milani just did a nice, simple lipgloss instead of one of their long-wearing liquid lipstick formulas so I purchased a few shades of Keep It Full Nourishing Lip Plumper when I grabbed the Milani Blush Trio Palettes earlier last month. I had to tip myself into the free shipping zone and that gave me a perfect excuse to haul these.
Milani Keep It Full Nourishing Lip Plumper arrive in a chubby barrel that holds 0.13 oz of product and has a huge sponge applicator for application much like we’ve seen from lipgloss such as Milani Moisture Lock Oil Infused Lip Treatment, Flirt! Big Flirt Sheer and Shiny Lipgloss, MAC Wonder Woman Lipglasses, and NYC New York Color Cosmetics Big Bold Gloss. This might seem like an awkward too large applicator but I actually love using these. They cover a lot of area easily and I don’t have to keep dipping and reapplying layers as I can get gloss on my lips in one swipe.
The formula is quite thick but not sticky and applies very smoothly on my drier lips. I did struggle a little bit with one of the lighter shades (Shade: Champagne) as it kept migrating to the center of my lips but it was isolated to this color only as all the other shades applied very smoothly and evenly without migration issues and all of them wore for a solid five hours. I love the thickness of the gloss and the fact it never felt sticky nor tacky but quite hydrating. The thickness of the gloss is what gave the plumping effect in my opinion as my lips looked fuller when wearing this. There was no sting, bite, or tingle like many plumping formulas and the subtle mint vanilla flavor and fragrance was pleasant. The pigment was quite good here as well! I wouldn’t say they provided complete full-coverage but they didn’t slack either and gave lips a nice pop of color.

Milani Keep It Full Nourishing Lip Plumper is a refreshing change from all the long-wearing formulas that Milani has been putting out lately. It feels a good long while since they released a lipgloss formula and they did a great job with this latest one. This lipgloss provided nice pigment, a long-wearing formula, that was comfortable, hydrating, and made my lips fuller!

As a lipgloss lover I feel like Milani Keep It Full Nourishing Lip Plumper has a lot going for it. This formula provides plenty of shine and plumps lips nicely thanks to the thickness of the gloss without the sting of a more traditional plumping formula. It also has a nice pop of color that’s not crazy pigmented but just enough that it shows up quite nicely on lips plus the longer wear of five hours is pretty darn good for a gloss formula!
