Revlon Kiss Plumping Lip Creme (Buy 1, Get 1 50% Off) is a new plumping cream liquid enhancing lipstick with a high-shine finish that launched in ten shade selections with the brand’s Fall 2017 Collection. This is probably one of my favorite lip product releases at the drugstore recently. I absolutely adored these and I can see myself purchasing all the shades at some point because they wear so comfortably, look so incredible on my lips, and have a beautifully textured formula.
Here’s the details on these new Kiss Plumping Lip Cremes.
I’m one of those people that loves the look of a nude lip in theory but not visibly on my own lips. Allows me to explain….finding a suitable shade of nude lipgloss or lipstick can be a tedious task but it can also be a very rewarding one as well. It might take a lot of testing, trial, and error but at some point you’re going to find that perfect nude shade that compliments your complexion and give your lips that gorgeous natural look. The bad news is this could take ages, the good news is there are plenty of super flattering, natural lip shade enhancing colors to choose from in the new Revlon Kiss Plumping Lip Creme Collection.
I purchased four of these shades when they launched a few weeks ago which pretty much means I blind brought them and didn’t have a clue if the shades would work for me. In most cases, this shouldn’t be a problem BUT there were several nudes I selected that I had reservations about. Would they make me look like I was living dead girl? Would I get a bad case of zombie looking lips because they colors weren’t suitable for my skin tone? I had absolutely none of these issues and most skin tones won’t as these are quite universally flattering shades! Now this isn’t to say the whole collection of shades is made up of strictly nudes but they do have a shades that are lip enhancing so they give you that my lips but better look.
These come housed in a slim squeeze tube that’s 0.25 oz in size with a slanted tip applicator. Just squeeze and product will flow into the applicator for easy application. They don’t have a sponge tip so you can easily clean the applicator off after application.
The formula is thick, super creamy, and applies easily and smoothly on my drier lips with a moisturizing feel and wear that felt delightful without being tacky or sticky. They have a slight tingle during the initial application that disappears quickly enough. Apparently they are supposed to have a cooling feel but I didn’t notice it. They are also supposed to provide a plumping effect but I wouldn’t relate the plumping effect to the formula that’s more than likely due to the thickness of the actual formula which acts to create a fuller look on your lips.

Revlon Kiss Plumping Lip Creme Swatches (Almond Suede, Barely Blush, Spiced Berry, Velvet Minx)
I found the texture quite lovely. It’s thick and creamy but wears comfortably. The texture feels like a liquid cream lipstick of sorts and packs the pigmentation of one as well. The color pay off is incredible here and the shades are very complimentary to your actual lip color. A single pass provides opaque coverage with a very flattering my lips but better look. The finish has a hint of a nice shine as well and the wear is around 4 hours without migration issues or feathering. They do have a subtle vanilla fragrance that I found pleasant but deserves mentioning for sensitive users.

I liked these a lot! They feel hydrating on my lips, apply easily, and look fantastic with plenty of color and nice shine plus the thickness of the formula give my lips a fuller look and appearance. All in all, they are turning into one of my current fav lip products available at the drugstore.
